Dave Thompson, a long-time resident of the Onalaska area, died Friday the 27th of July at a local hospital.
Dave was born in Madison, WI on January 22nd, 1955, he graduated from West High School in 1973.
Dave worked as a sub-contractor in the Onalaska area for many years until he pursued his own business.
He enjoyed fishing, listening to music, tending to his garden, and getting together with family and friends.
Dave is survived by his father, Arnold M. Thompson and his mother, Lisa K. Thompson, both of Madison, WI. And, his longtime companion, Sherri Hudson.

Kate Foley, 29, died on May 8th, 2020 in Wisconsin Dells surrounded by her loved ones. Kate was an amazing human being. She was a smart, talented, and beautiful young woman who showed generosity to all the people she met.
Kate was just starting out in her career as a nurse at the local hospital. She had recently graduated from the University of Rochester School of Medicine. It was he life’s passion to help others in need.
