Jacob Stark, age 58, passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2021, at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Needham, Massachusetts. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on October 23, 1963, he was the son of Henry and Katherine (Ericson) Stark. He was raised in Worcester and graduated from the Worcester Technical High School, focusing on culinary arts. Jacob continued his studies at Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester, earning his associate's degree in Liberal Arts.
One of Jacob's passions throughout his life was music. He enjoyed playing his guitar, and more recently his ukulele. He also started attending music festivals in New Orleans and Seattle. Jacob's spent his early career in property management positions but his love of music led him to Music First on Centre Street in West Roxbury, managing the store for several years. Jacob's career then brought him back to property management positions with Barkan Management and Tillingers Concierge in Boston.
Back at home in Worcester, Jacob enjoyed following his beloved hometown teams, the Red Sox and Bruins, while tending to his smoker, creating the best BBQ meats. Most of all, Jacob loved being surrounded by his family and was known for choosing the best greeting cards for all his loved one's birthdays and holidays.
Devoted son of Henry and Katherine (Ericson) Stark of Worcester. Brother of Catie M. Hollen and her husband, Louis, of Manchester, New Hampshire. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and a grandnephew.
